For those who keep asking, I’m happy to let you know that plus sizes have started to arrive at Dress911; expect to see more arriving later this week!  It is the summer season for cocktail dresses and wedding parties, I hope that your schedule is full.  So, please keep your eyes open for some very cute that are in store now and that will be arriving soon.    And congratulations to Nicole Bayona of Louisiana who won Guess Me & Get Me on July 11th; next contest on July 21st.

I would also like to introduce the newest member of our family, Tung Tong, a Japanese Koi that is adjusting well to backyard life.  In Thailand we give our pets names that are lucky; Tung Tong literally translated means Gold Bag.  We’ll see how lucky he is when the local Blue Herons come and test our pond’s defenses looking for tasty treats.  Always love hearing from everyone and receiving feedback on how to improve Dress911.  Be safe and have fun!

Hello ladies,

I am happy to announce that Dress911 will begin to offer dresses in plus sizes later this week.  Unfortunately, almost all the the dresses we presently carry are not offered in plus sizes from our suppliers.  The exception to this are the wonderful items that are made by Heartbreaker Fashions and we will be offering some of their selections in large sizes near the end of July or early August.  Please keep checking back for new styles.  The plus sized section will be offered on a trial basis and if there is a lot of interest the offerings will be increased.  Hope everyone is enjoying the sun!

The weather seems perfect here today, a little cool and sunny will make it a great day to be outdoors!  I hope that everyone has a great time and gets to see some fireworks.  At dress911, you will notice that I’ve placed many items on sale.  As well, I have changed the return policy so that you can return sale items that are less than 30% off(it used to be 20%).  So have more confidence buying those items that are 20% and 25% off because you can return them for a refund. Hello Ladies,

This last week our first shipment of dresses arrived from Heartbreaker Fashions.  Demand for their cute designs were more than I had expected and many of the sizes sold out quickly.  We have decided to regularly carry these unique 50′ and ’60s styles here at Dress911.  We have already placed an order to restock the items that sold out and have added another nine styles, which will being arriving in mid July.  You can always visit the Heartbreaker website and give us recommendations on their products that you would like to see at Dress911.  As well, the next shipment will include XL sizes in many of the styles.  We’ve had difficulty finding really cute styles that come in larger sizes, so we’re extra excited about the Heartbreaker Brand.  Thanks again for all the wonderful feedback and suggestions

Hello Ladies,  Its been a while since my last update, sorry, been very busy here at Dress911.  For those of you who have been waiting for Heartbreaker dresses(pictured in Feb.20 blog entry) to arrive I have good news for you… they should start arriving around the 18th of June and will be a regular feature.  I’m very excited about the dresses as they are truly unique and capture the styles of the ’50s.

Importantly, I want say ‘Thank you’ to all the girls who offered their assistance with the French version of the website, especially to Katie and Marie-Noëlle(such a cute name!)  We hope that our girls from Quebec will be pleased with the results.  I know it took a long time to finalize everything and I apologize for the delay.  As well, congratulations to Lesley Pugsley of Ontario,who won May’s free dress draw!

Hello Ladies, hope everyone had a fantastic weekend.  Firstly, I want to thank everyone who took the time to answer our little survey.  I’ve read some of them so far and hope to get through them all in the next couple of weeks.  I’m pleased to announce that we have a new way to pay without having to use a credit cart.  In addition to paying by cheque, money order, or Paypal, or credit card, we now offer payment through Email Money Transfer(EMT) for Canadian customers.  If you would like to purchase a dress this way just give me an email with the product(s) your interested in and I will email you instructions.  EMT is available to most people with an online banking account in Canada and only takes a few minutes to set up through your bank.

It’s been cloudy the last few days but I hope you girls still have great time outside, be a little bit patient and the brightest Summer will be here in no time…  along with our new dresses(some are pictured above)!  As requested, I have tried to expand Dress911’s selections, so we can offer you more styles for more occasions. We are now starting to offer some very exquisite dresses for those special occasions where only a superbly premium product will do!  Also keep your eyes open for more cute and fun summer dresses that arrive weekly and cocktail dresses that will arrive this Spring/Summer.

For our francophone fans, we are happy to offer Dress911 in both English and French.  However, the French site is not yet 100% complete and there may be errors; feel free to correct us wherever necessary   We continue our work of making this website better, easier to use and most importantly more fun.

Finally, for those that do not have a credit card we are now accepting payment by Interac Email Money Transfer.  All you need is an online bank account to set up this new service and you won’t have to wait for cheques to clear or money orders to arrive anymore.  If interested, just give us an email and will give you detailed instructions on how to complete an order

Today I am taking you girls for a tour to my home country: Thailand.
Thai New Year, Songkran, was April13th and marks the end of the previous year and the beginning of a new year.  Songkran is also well know as the Water Festival and fun water battles can be seen everywhere throughout the country for a whole week! As a kid,I remember waiting all year for Songkran to come!  April is one of the warmest months in Southeast Asia with as average temperature of 37-38′ c, so having water fights is especially enjoyable. Families get together to celebrate and many leave the cities and return to their home villages where the young kids will ask to be blessed by the elders in the family. Writing about it makes me a bit homesick …  If you ever have a chance to visit Thailand, Songkran is a great time to see Thai culture at its best!

And a big congratulations to Anum Syeda of Hamilton who was this month’s winner of Guess Me & Get Me (April11th).  I think that I’ve been making it too easy for everyone to guess, so next month I’m going to make it really difficult!!!

Also, I want to update you all that more longer dresses are coming soon and in more styles and colours for Spring-Summer. Heartbreaker fans will also be pleased to know that their amazing line will be arriving in a few styles in June, so don’t forget to check back!

Hi Ladies,  We’ve been having some problems with our website operating slowly as sometimes there are just too many people online for our servers capacity.  So, we’re happy to announce that we will be changing to a new dedicated internet server on Friday evening, causing the website to be down for several hours from around 10:00pm.  When it’s complete you will notice that pages are loading quicker and less frustrating

The long Easter Weekend has slowed down the arrival of some orders.  But expect to see many new exciting and original dresses online on Friday and Saturday.  Finally, congratulations to Madelin Blacha who won this months free dress draw.
